Hello, I’m Mitzie Cubillo Parra, a dedicated professional with 30 years of experience in the dental field. I began my journey as a Dental Assistant for 3 years before transitioning to Dental Hygiene, a role I’ve passionately pursued for the past 27 years. I hold two Associate degrees in Science, graduating with high honors from Columbia Greene Community College in 1995 and earning the top clinical position in my Dental Hygiene program at Hudson Valley Community College in 1997. In 2020, I achieved my Laser Certification, further enhancing my skills in the field.

My commitment to patient care goes beyond routine procedures; I deeply empathize with my patients, understanding their unique dental needs. This empathy allows me to treat them with both passion and compassion. I am dedicated to educating those I serve, empowering them to embrace their smiles confidently. As a native of Costa Rica, I overcame language barriers when I moved to the USA in 1988, graduating with honors from Cairo Durham High School a year ahead of schedule.

In addition to my professional endeavors, I am actively involved in community outreach and education. I’ve volunteered my time to educate preschool and middle school children about proper dental hygiene, fostering a foundation for good oral health. I am also proud to have contributed my skills to the Mission of Mercy organization, providing dental care to underserved individuals.

Outside of work, I cherish moments spent with my three children and nurture my passion for travel. I explore the world extensively, dedicating 5 to 7 weeks annually to both national and international adventures. For me, the world is a canvas to discover, a platform to give back, and an opportunity to learn from every individual I have the privilege to serve.

In my heart, I am a steward of God, entrusted with the responsibility to care for His people. It is both my privilege and honor to fulfill this calling through my work in dentistry, bridging the gap between care and compassion for those in need.

Meet Stacey Bly, Office Manager and a passionate dental professional at Hudson Dental Arts. Her journey in dentistry traces back to her childhood days when she often accompanied her grandmother to a local dental office after hours. Amidst the piles of toys given out to patients, Stacey’s fascination for dentistry took root, captivated by the intriguing array of dental instruments. As she transitioned into adulthood, Stacey took a different path, raising her two children while working at a well-known publishing company, Verizon. However, life took an unexpected turn when her job was outsourced after 15 years. Seizing the opportunity for change, she took a leap of faith and secured a front desk position at the busiest oral surgery practice in the capital district. It was there that she discovered her passion for healthcare, finding joy in assisting and guiding patients throughout their treatment journeys. After six years, Stacey realized she yearned for a more personal connection with patients, and a stronger sense of purpose. She made the move to general dentistry and that’s when her love for the dental field truly blossomed. The constant learning and growth in her profession became the driving force that keeps her inspired and motivated. At Hudson Dental Arts, Stacey thrives in creating genuine connections with the families who entrust their dental care to the practice.
